Luca (10), a young Greek immigrant living in Cargèse, on the Corsican coast, misses Greece. He finds solace in training for and obsessing over freediving, an ancient sport that involves diving on a single breath. But his father, Alex (39), a former champion tormented by the life he left behind and the recent disappearance of his wife during a freediving session, forbids him from pursuing the sport due to his reckless behavior. Unable to find his place in the village and in conflict with his father, Luca is at his breaking point. The boy is ready to risk everything to prove he has what it takes... and to make the ultimate dive.
